The CiC starts with two clear, achievable goals – identified by practitioners, for practitioners. More will follow.

Unnecessary enquiries
Reducing the volume of inappropriate enquiries that slow transactions down and make conveyancers look disjointed.
02.
Mortgagee protection clauses
Resolving the inconsistency of lender requirements around MPCs in leases, working with lenders and other stakeholders.
There are a host of other issues the collective will tackle in time. Our intention is always to work alongside other relevant groups and stakeholders.
